What Do I Need to Sign Up?

To begin the registration process, we will need several documents and basic details about the balloon and its owner.

Don't worry if you're missing some of the documentation. Our team will help you identify what's needed and guide you through the process.

Required Documents

Copy of passport
Certificate of Incorporation / Certificate of Good Standing (for company owners)
Purchase Agreement or Bill of Sale
Aircraft Insurance Certificate
Power of Attorney from the Owner
Power of Attorney from the Operator
Aircraft Use Agreement (only if the owner and operator are different entities)
Maintenance Programme (if not covered by our CAO service)

All documents should be provided in English or Czech.

Need Insurance?

We can arrange aircraft insurance as part of the registration process, helping you keep everything together.

What you'll need:

MTOW and RMTOW
Number of occupants
Required insurance period
Intended use (commercial or private)

Why should I register through Kubicek Balloons?

Do I need insurance before registration?

Yes. A valid insurance certificate is required as part of the registration process. If you don't already have insurance in place, we can help arrange it and prepare a tailored quotation.

Can I fly outside the Czech Republic with a Czech registration?

Yes. A balloon registered in the Czech Republic can operate throughout EASA member states in accordance with applicable regulations, giving you the flexibility to fly across Europe.
