1. Don't overcrowd the baskets - Maintain 0.25 m2 of space per passenger.

2. Brief passengers before the flight - Use the time on the ground to brief passengers, as there may not be time during the flight.

3. Use the pilot restraint harness - Ensure the pilot is securely restrained during approach and landing to prevent pilot ejection from the basket.

4. Correct landing position - Before the approach rebrief the passengers on the landing procedure and landing position. Before you touch down, make sure everyone is in the correct landing position.

5. Land on the long side of the basket - Always aim to land on the longer

side of the basket to prevent excessive impact for passengers.

6. Perform a tangential landing - Ensure the deflation system opens while the balloon is flying parallel to the surface at a low altitude.
