This Privacy Policy applies to the FlyMate mobile application and related FlyMate account services operated by Kubicek Factory s.r.o.
FlyMate is designed for flight operations, navigation, flight logging, loading-related calculations, and optional account and sharing features. We process personal data only as needed to provide these functions, protect the service, support users, and comply with legal obligations.
FlyMate does not use personal data for advertising, cross-app tracking, or marketing profiling.

Kubicek Factory s.r.o. is the controller of personal data processed in connection with FlyMate.
2. DATA WE PROCESS
Depending on how you use FlyMate, we may process the following categories of data:
Account and profile data
- name
- email address
- username
- account identifiers
- linked sign-in provider
- profile photo
- optional profile text
- account and subscription status
Precise location and flight data
- current GPS location
- background location during active flight tracking, if you grant that permission
- historical track data
- altitude, speed, heading, timing, and route data
- wind inputs
- waypoints
- balloon and fuel-related entries
- landing estimates
- descent calculations
- operational notes
- other flight-log information created or recorded in FlyMate
Optional weight-related operational data
- pilot weight
- equipment weight
If you choose to enter or synchronize these values, FlyMate uses them solely for loading calculations, related operational features, and account synchronization where applicable. We do not use these values for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
Social and sharing data
- friendship relationships
- friend requests
- shared-track preferences
- track, waypoint, or related operational data that you intentionally share with other FlyMate users through FlyMate features
FlyMate does not read or import your phone address book or contact list.
Photos and images
- profile or other images you choose to select from your device for use in FlyMate
Purchase and subscription data
- subscription status
- entitlement status
- product identifiers
- expiry or renewal information
- limited transaction-related identifiers supplied by Apple App Store or Google Play to validate purchases
FlyMate does not receive or store your full payment card number.
Identifiers and technical service data
- your FlyMate user ID
- an app-specific persistent device identifier
- app version
- operating system version
- device model
- basic service and security logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service
Support data
- information you send to us when you contact support, such as emails, screenshots, exported files, and other materials you choose to provide
We do not intentionally collect audio recordings through FlyMate under this Privacy Policy version.
3. HOW WE RECEIVE DATA
We receive personal data:
- directly from you, when you create an account, edit your profile, enter flight data, enter loading-related values, purchase a subscription, contact support, or choose to share data
- automatically from your device when you use FlyMate features, such as location-based flight tracking, navigation, and logging
- from Apple or Google when you use Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, App Store purchases, or Google Play purchases
- from other FlyMate users only where social or sharing features make that necessary
4. WHY WE PROCESS DATA
We process personal data to:
- create and manage FlyMate accounts
- authenticate users and keep accounts secure
- provide flight navigation, tracking, logging, and related operational features
- support loading-related calculations and related settings
- synchronize data across devices where account-based services are used
- enable optional social and sharing features
- validate subscriptions and entitlement status
- provide customer support
- maintain service security, reliability, and fraud prevention
- comply with legal obligations
We do not use personal data for targeted advertising, advertising measurement, or data brokerage.
5. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
Depending on the features you use, FlyMate may request access to:
- precise location, including background location during active flight tracking
- photo library, if you choose to select or save images through the app
You can control these permissions in your device settings. If you disable them, some FlyMate features may no longer work properly.
6. LEGAL BASES
Where GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide FlyMate and its features
- legitimate interests, including service security, fraud prevention, reliability, and maintenance
- consent, where required for device permissions such as location or photo-library access
- legal obligation, where retention or disclosure is required by law
7. SHARING OF DATA
We do not sell or rent personal data.
We may share personal data only as necessary with:
- Apple, for App Store purchases, subscription validation, and Sign in with Apple
- Google, if you choose Google Sign-In or use Google Play purchase flows
- weather, aviation, and map-service providers used by FlyMate features, such as OpenWeather, AVWX, OpenAIP, and configured map or tile providers
- hosting, infrastructure, storage, security, and support providers acting on our behalf
- other FlyMate users, but only to the extent you intentionally enable sharing or social features
- public authorities, courts, or regulators where required by law
Where third parties process personal data on our behalf, we require them to protect it appropriately.
8. TRACKING AND ADVERTISING
FlyMate does not track you across apps, websites, or services owned by other companies for advertising purposes.
FlyMate does not use personal data for:
- cross-app tracking
- targeted advertising
- sharing with data brokers
- advertising measurement based on third-party data sets
9. STORAGE AND RETENTION
Some FlyMate data is stored locally on your device. Account-linked and synchronized data may also be stored on Kubicek Factory systems or on infrastructure providers acting on our behalf.
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In general:
- account and subscription records are kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterward as needed for security, accounting, legal compliance, and dispute resolution
- locally stored flight data remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or reset the device, subject to operating-system backups outside our control
- server-stored FlyMate data is retained until you delete it, delete your account, or it is no longer needed for the service
- support communications and legally required records may be retained for the period required by applicable law
- backup copies may remain for a limited period before secure deletion
10. YOUR RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data
- correct inaccurate data
- request deletion
- restrict or object to certain processing
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- receive your data where portability applies
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

11. ACCOUNT DELETION
You can request deletion of your FlyMate account and associated personal data at any time.
If you can access the app, open FlyMate, go to Account Settings, and select Delete Account.
If you cannot access the app, contact:

When your account is deleted, we will remove or anonymize personal data associated with the account from active systems, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Deletion generally includes:
- account profile data
- authentication-related account records needed only for active use
- synchronized navigation and operational data linked to the account
- account-linked preferences and settings
Backup copies and limited technical logs may remain for a limited period before deletion.
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
If you purchased a subscription through Apple or Google, deleting your FlyMate account does not automatically cancel your store subscription. Store subscriptions must be managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
12. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
FlyMate is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for this service.
13. SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the confidentiality and integrity of FlyMate data.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published at:
